Development of site-specific process for managing the cleanliness and movement of mobile medical equipment (i.e., pumps, beds, wheelchairs, etc.) within the healthcare field. Providing staff for a team that cleans, stores, delivers, and manages equipment to ensure that each patient received properly cleaned equipment.
Ordering & Delivery
- Use a web-based software to manage equipment requests
- Equipment is cleaned, prepped, inspected and delivered directly to the bedside
- Use of mobile device to track equipment delivery efficiencies
- Management of rental equipment not owned by client
Cleaning & Collecting
- Detailed deep cleaning of equipment between uses
- Equipment is inspected to identify any defects and removed from service
- Collection of soiled equipment from specific locations throughout the facility
Data Analysis
- Detailed reporting on equipment requests and movement
- Productivity reports for employee’s efficiencies
- Ordering trends by specific locations
- Analytics on equipment needs based on usage
- Work side-by-side with Biomedical Engineering to ensure equipment is available and safe
